Role/ Department Overview:

In the rapidly evolving landscape for new business model and journey from Telco to Telco-Tech towards enabling sustainable growth ambitions, Grameenphone is rejuvenating it’s Enterprise Architecture function. Hence, to further strengthen the team, we are looking for competent Enterprise Architects to join the winning team. The team will carry the strategic ambitions of the organization for building the required IT capabilities with long-term focus.

Job Responsibility:

  • Enrich Enterprise Architecture building blocks of Grameenphone working in core areas like Business Architecture, Data Architecture, Information Systems Architecture and Technical Architecture.

  • Ensure and maintain clear coherence of architecture vision with the strategy and business vision of the organization.

  • Establish and maintain enterprise architecting phases of ADM from architecture vision to architecture change management.

  • Explore new technologies, solutions, industry trend and partner ecosystem to identify and guide innovative capabilities for future-fit organization.

  • Lead IT Architecture standardization and simplification initiatives.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including business, IT leaders and partners, to understand business needs and translate them into architectural requirements and solutions.

  • Guide the design and evaluation of technology solutions, assessing their feasibility, cost, and impact on the enterprise architecture.

  • Perform as mentor for solution architects, designer and developers.

  • Conduct periodic code reviews, and make critical decisions regarding technology stack, frameworks, and methodologies to be used.

  • Identify and present potential risks, classify, prepare mitigation and perform residual risk assessment for business and architecture transformation.

  • Establish and enforce architecture governance processes and perform architecture compliance reviews.

Experience & Skill:

  • Bachelor’s/master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Certifications in Enterprise Architecting (e.g., TOGAF) is a strong plus.

  • 8+ years of experience in IT Architecture, with a proven track record of 2-3 years of enterprise architecting in large corporate.

  • Experience in Telecommunication Industry is an advantage.

  • Proficiency in enterprise architecture frameworks, such as TOGAF, solid understanding of ODA (Open Digital architecture) is highly desired.

  • Knowledge of cloud technologies and recent Technology Trends, Application Architecture, Integration Patterns, Data Modeling, and Security Principles and Best Practices are required.

  • Knowledge of key emerging technology trends.

  • Ability to learn, synthesis, and advise on a wide array of technology, quickly.

  • Ability to work in support of executive level leadership, in a fast-paced environment. Must have a strategic mindset.
