Explanation:
Telenor Group carries out a large number of supplier inspections across the Business Units. Inspections are generally performed by trained, local in-house personnel, in order to establish the required competence and ownership with the responsible supply chain management.
In addition to the above local inspections, Telenor started in 2010 to do selected HSSE audits of large global suppliers, executed from group level through a third party auditor. We foresee to carry out a limited number of such global HSSE audits on an annual basis.
