Telenor in Denmark is the second largest mobile and fixed broadband operator serving the Danish market.
In Denmark, Telenor’s offerings include mobile, fixed and broadband services, with a customer base consisting of postpaid subscribers. The Telenor Denmark brand launched in 2009, when Sonofon and Cybercity merged. Telenor had previously purchased both Sonofon (2000) and Cybercity (2005) prior to the merger. As a strong player in the Danish market, Telenor is constantly developing its network and services to improve customer satisfaction.
At the end of 2024, revenue market share was around 23% and the number of mobile subscriptions stood at 1.7 million. Details on the spectrum portfolio can be found here. Within fixed broadband, Telenor had 108,000 subscriptions at the end of 2024.
