Role Overview:

The role encompasses technical oversight in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of the organization's IT infrastructure and services. The role will be instrumental in defining, implementing, and continuously improving the SRE practices, focusing on automating operations, minimizing manual intervention, and driving the organization's resilience to handle large-scale systems. These responsibilities will include establishing and monitoring service level objectives (SLOs), and managing incident response and post-incident analysis. Additionally, will work closely with cross-functional teams to align SRE goals with the organization's business objectives and ensure exceptional system reliability, proactive issue resolution, and continual performance optimization. The role’s leadership will play a key role in shaping a culture of operational excellence, fostering continuous improvement, and enabling the organization to deliver highly available, high-performance IT services to meet business and customer needs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Controlling and monitoring daily/weekly/operations KPI and SLA and proving timely solution to different solutions

  • Continuous improvement of operations, incidents improvement, automations, tools strategy to handle the organization ambition and future fit IT

  • The role will lead by example, setting high standards for professionalism, productivity, and quality work.

  • Collaborate with business to deliver service request within operational scope as per SLA.

  • Ensure proper 2nd line O&M of application nodes/services carried by managed partners and provide technical expertise to lead the team for cross functional activity to analyze the system and service quality for systems/services.

  • Increase customer satisfaction on different products through maintaining the service quality and ensure the performance by reducing outage, stretched SLA and reducing MTTR for all nodes within the scope.

  • Develop and deploy the roll out plan for SW and HW upgrades in live platforms to Ensure new feature during SW/HW implementation / up gradation and maximize the reusability of existing H/W and S/W systems.

  • Ensuring new node integration, configuration & user acceptance testing (UAT) and platform/service migration. Perform role of Migration Operation lead for any critical system/platform migration.

  • Support for new product & campaign design & execution and take business critical decisions on operational aspect.

  • Security Portfolio Management and Operationalization of security policies and group business security observations in various platforms, participate in Internal and external audit for access, conduct user access review of platforms, Proactive security assessment, various protocol analysis and enhance user experience for different application services.

  • Conduct regular performance evaluation, provide constructive feedback, and assist in setting performance improvement plans for IT operations.

  • Maintain open and effective communication channel within team and across different department and business.

  • Lead in identification and resolving issues or challenges that may arise during project execution, operations. encourage proactive problem-solving approach.

  • Ensure effective Governance & follow-ups with manage service partners & L3 support teams.

  • Effective participation in TCAB and MOP discussions for any change deployments.

Education, Skills & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or preferably master’s degree in electrical and Electronics Engineering/ Computer Science & Engineering or related subject.

  • 4-6 years’ hands on system operational experiences for telco applications.

  • Demonstrates strong knowledge and best practices on Micro Service Architecture, Cloud Native Solutions, and complex Integration Architecture.

  • Clear Understanding on IT applications network Architecture.

  • Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java, Python, Shell scripts, Perl Scripts. And operational experience on different database system like MySQL, Mongo, Redis, Cassandra etc.

  • Strong problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills to rapidly assess problem situations.
