Scope: We are looking for a skilled professional to design and evolve the IP/MPLS and Optical transmission architecture for mobile and fixed services, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability. The role includes leading IP RAN, backhaul, and transport network planning for seamless 2G/4G/5G integration, designing IP Clock Synchronization for time-sensitive services, and enforcing network security policies. Responsibilities also cover budget planning, fiber infrastructure procurement, capacity expansion, and collaboration with vendors for multi-vendor solutions.

Responsibilities:

Design & evolve the IP/MPLS & Optical transmission architecture for mobile and fixed services, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability. Lead IP RAN, backhaul, and transport network planning, ensuring seamless integration for 2G/4G/5G, APN services, IT service platforms and other Peripheral system both Internal & External. Design and Implement IP Clock Synchronization (SyncE, IEEE 1588v2 PTP, G.8275.1) for time-sensitive services in Tx network. Define and enforce network security policies, including firewalls, IPSec VPNs, GREoIPSec and source/destination NAT based on the service requirements. Ensure budget planning, procurement, and capitalization of fiber infrastructure for long-term network growth. Oversee capacity expansion, optimization initiatives and last-mile connectivity solutions with cost efficiency. Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to drive multi-vendor network solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in EEE/CSE/or relevant Engineering from reputed university

• Certifications in IP technology or equivalent qualifications are preferred.

• Familiarity with relevant programming languages, frameworks, and development of Automation tools for data analytics will be added advantage.

Relevant Experience & Skill set:

• 5-6 years of hands-on experience in IP/MPLS and transmission networks within a telecom operator, ISP, or large-scale service provider.

• Proven expertise in multi-vendor environments (Huawei, Cisco, Nokia, Juniper, Ericsson, Ciena, Infinera, etc.).

• Strong background in network planning, design, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

• Prior experience working with vendors will be an added advantage.
