Lars-Åke Norling appointed CEO of Telenor Sweden

Lars-Åke Norling has been appointed CEO of Telenor Sweden. He has held the position as acting CEO since February this year.
Lars-Åke Norling has held several leading positions at Telenor Sweden. Starting as head of IS/IT in Bredbandsbolaget in 1999, he subsequently became technology director and deputy CEO in the company. In September 2007 he took on the position as CTO and became a member of the management team in Telenor Sweden.
"Lars-Å ke has extensive experience from the industry, and has, during his period as acting CEO and CTO, clearly demonstrated that he has the qualities needed to manage Telenor in Sweden. Together with the rest of Telenor's management team, I am pleased that Lars-Å ke has agreed to take up the post of CEO on a permanent basis and continue the work to strengthen Telenor's position on the Swedish market" said Morten Karlsen Sørby, Executive Vice President and Head of Telenor in the Nordic region.
